Elina Duni & Rob Luft Quartet (Jazzfestival Freiburg 2024)

As the title of their new album "A Time To Remember" suggests, the concept of time runs like a theme through the program of the band around Elina Duni and Rob Lust and combines music from different parts of the world - traditional songs, popular songs and original compositions - in performances of deep lyricism, but also light-footed folklore. The repertoire includes Albanian and Kosovar folk music, American songs and originals by Rob and Elina.

Jazzwise said: "The sum of Duni and Luft's work together seems greater than their individual achievements, where concept and conceptualization have combined to produce a classic." At this concert they will be supported by one of the great rhythm sections of the Balkans: Kiril Tufekcievski on double bass and Viktor Filipovski on drums.
