Dance into May with samba, rap and reggae

EMERSOUND is the energetic fusion of samba, rap, maracatú, afro-beat, pop, funk and reggae, created by the charismatic Brazilian musician Emerson Araújo.

He has been active as a professional musician since 2007 and began his career as a percussionist at the multi-award-winning samba school "Vai Vai" in São Paulo. He has also played with Peter Fox and has performed at numerous international festivals, including the Montreal Jazz Festival (CH), Salfelden Jazz Festival (AT), Seoul Drum Festival (KR), Zwarte Cross Festival (NL), Bardentreffen (DE) and Earth Garden Festival (Malta).

With EMERSOUND, Emerson combines traditional rhythms with modern hip-hop and popular Latin American styles to create urban, danceable music full of "suingue". Especially live, EMERSOUND unfolds its irresistible grooves: Emerson interacts authentically with the audience, accompanied by a hand-picked, experienced live band.

His music defies clichés, invites you to dance and unites different cultures in a modern, energetic performance.
