17th Kassel JazzFrühling
It has already been said. Émile Parisien uses his two-year residency at the TCi to search for new flavor combinations. Pianist Yaron Herman, another Victoire du Jazz, a master improviser who walks with his nose to the wind between rock, electro and classical, is naturally drawn to this promise of alchemy. As a student of Shankar Ghosh, Prabhu Edouard has accompanied the greats of Indian music. He is also one of the most versatile tabla players and offers rich flavors that have already seduced Jordi Savall, Jeff Mills and Magic Malik. And we had announced a transatlantic breath for this extraordinary concert: joining us is the moving Linda May Han Oh, born in Malaysia, "one of the most dynamic rising stars in jazz today" (Wall Street Journal), Grammy winner. Perfect to spice things up and give the combination an almost metaphysical touch.
