On her new album Ulaan, Enji combines influences from jazz, folk and traditional Mongolian music with her unique voice. Her lyrics deal with dreams, longing and the meaning of seemingly meaningless moments, framed in the sound and unique rhythm of the Mongolian language. // Damian Dalla Torre's debut album Happy Floating (2022, Squama Recordings) is a collage of field recordings, brass instruments, synthesizer strings and delicate sampling techniques that oscillates between gentle familiarity and dreamlike distortions, both hopeful and melancholic.
