Enter The Circle 2023 - BREAKDANCE

On October 28, the world will turn upside down again at Hamburg's Mojo Club - in the truest sense of the word. Because at the breaking event ENTER THE CIRCLE, breakdance will once again be danced against each other in various categories. With acrobatics and beat feeling, dancers from the USA, the Netherlands, Spain and of course Germany will whirl through the air and compete in the 2-vs-2 junior battle (up to the age of 16) and in the international 3-vs-3 breaking battle (from the age of 16). For the first time this year, there will also be the new ENTER THE CIRCLE categories "Circle Queen" and "Circle King". The best dancers of the Circles - the dance circles that take place throughout the evening - will be chosen by a secret jury and announced at the end of the event.

And this is our top-class ENTER THE CIRCLE jury this year: POE ONE from the legendary Style Elements Crew from the USA. What can we say? One of the best and most famous dancers in hip-hop history is coming to us in Hamburg. So get ready. Next to him will sit B-Girl BO from the Netherlands, who is currently causing a stir internationally with her dynamic style. Our jury will be completed by MALLEKID from Germany. Not only is he the record holder with the most ENTER THE CIRCLE editions won, he has also been internationally notorious with his crews for years and is currently preparing Germany's dancers for the Olympic Games as the national coach. As last year, there will be a special jury for the Junior Battle.

Hamilton musical performer and musician REDCHILD. For the musical accompaniment of the dancers, the dream duo of the breaking scene will turn the turntables for us: DJ KIDCUT and DJ JUST-A-KID are again looking for the freshest beats for you and will make the Mojo Club shake. In addition to the competitions, there will be Circles - dance circles - all day long for all dance enthusiasts. ENTER THE CIRCLE is an event for young and old, for newcomers and experts. This year it is supported by the Hamburg Cultural Foundation, the Hildegard Sattelmacher Foundation and the Rating Foundation.

As every year, all hip-hop enthusiasts, breakdance fans and all other curious people are invited to join us at the Mojo Club.

Enter the Circle was founded in Kiel in 1998. Since 2012 the Breakdance Battle also takes place in Hamburg - on October 28, 2023 for the ninth time in Hamburg and for the sixth time at the Mojo Club.
