In the organizer's words:
How do you orient yourself when you can't see anything?
What do you perceive (and how) instead?
You can try this out in the "district of the senses". With the help of a long stick, participants can find their way through a course.
Here, typical paths, surfaces and noises simulate Berlin city life. Sighted people have to find their way around in a completely new way, for example using ground guidance systems or acoustic signals that they would hardly notice in everyday life.
