Café Kollwitz has moved and is opening its doors at Marschnerstraße 11 with a new ambience and fresh space for music and encounters. For the reopening, there will be a concert evening with two Leipzig acts.

ernie g is a leftfield artist between lo-fi, indie and psychedelia. His songs arise from repetition, inner restlessness and moods that slowly intensify instead of immediately explaining themselves. Driven by restlessness, anger and the constant urge to question everything, his music revolves around thought loops and so-called restless mantras. States that do not dissolve, but reverberate. It is music from the head and from the gut, in search of a place where you can be still for a moment.

Leon Pascal writes quiet post-folk songs that are carried only by guitar and voice. His delicate, detailed guitar playing is combined with soft, clear vocal lines in which every note is deliberately placed. His compositions effortlessly balance complexity and accessibility, inviting you to lose yourself in their multi-layered timbres while listening closely. He has released three singles on all major streaming platforms and a live recording is available on Bandcamp.
