Eröffnung der 9. Triennale der Photographie Hamburg 2026

In the organizer's words:

ALLIANCE, INFINITY, LOVE - IN THE FACE OF THE OTHER
Under the title Alliance, Infinity, Love - in the Face of the Other, the 9th Triennial of Photography Hamburg from June 5 to September 22, 2026 is dedicated to the unifying and at the same time critical potential of photography with 11 exhibitions in 8 participating institutions.

OPENING DAYS
The Opening Days will take place from June 4 to June 14, 2026 and include the opening parcours of all institutional exhibitions as well as the presentations of 15 projects from the local independent photography and art scene, which will be opened as part of the Triennale Expanded. This opening will be accompanied by an extensive, interdisciplinary festival program consisting of artist talks, performances, screenings, music and special guided tours. In addition, the festival center on the Deichtorhallen forecourt offers a place to meet, reminisce and think about new futures.
