Every two years, the state government of North Rhine-Westphalia honors outstanding work in the field of applied art and design - and this year, the major exhibition for the State Prize will once again be held in Dortmund! Over 100 impressive works from six categories - from image and print media, clothing, furniture, objects and sculpture to jewelry, living and outdoor areas - will be presented at the Museum of Art and Cultural History.
The State Prize is one of the most important awards of its kind in Germany and is under the patronage of Minister President Hendrik Wüst. The exhibition is organized in cooperation with the West German Association of Chambers of Crafts and is sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
