Cologne-based alternative and post-punk band Escape with Romeo have been around for almost 37 years now. But that's no reason for nostalgia, as the 13th studio album "Night After Night" proves. While the LP "Suspicious Bliss", released in November 2024, was the result of a musical reinvention, the new work takes this one step further. At a time when it is no longer about specific genres but about emotional impact, the album, which will be released in late summer 2026, can be stylistically positioned between post-punk, electronic, trip hop and post-rock.

Escape with Romeo, who have now shrunk to a trio live, channel their idea of post-punk and dark wave without falling into clichés.
