Following a successful debut in March, we’re looking forward to the third edition of Essen ist Bass. With driving beats, hypnotic melodies, and deep basslines, the night will be an unforgettable experience. This party combines progressive house, melodic techno, and trance with a genuine club vibe—danceable, energetic, and intense. Right in the heart of Essen, electronic sounds meet the urban character of the Ruhr region, creating a space to unwind, immerse yourself, and dance late into the night.

Location
The Temple Bar is a popular bar, beer garden, and club in the heart of downtown Essen at Salzmarkt 1, near the main train station and shopping streets. It’s known for its cozy atmosphere with chandeliers, sofas, and a diverse mix of music from DJs on the weekends.
In the summer, the beer garden under the plane trees invites you to linger, while the bar itself serves a wide selection of beers and cocktails.
The vibe is laid-back, with local music, foosball, and events, and many guests stay here until late into the night.

The club is located in the basement—an intimate venue with atmosphere and character. Warm lighting and sound fill the space, creating an intimate connection between the DJ and the guests—ideal for authentic electronic vibes: raw, direct, and energetic. Perfect for driving progressive house, melodic, hypnotic techno, and trance well into the early morning hours.
