Essener VokalEnsemble - Reiselust und gute Laune
In the organizer's words:
Wanderlust and a good mood -
Musically, it goes from New York to Wanne Eickel, from Innsbruck to the bar on the Nile. And with longing in our traveling shoes, we wander to the miller's delight. In between, little stories tell of the great emotions of travel.
Around 30 singers from the ESSENER VOKALENSEMBLE will take you into another world, alternating with the reading voices of Dalila Niksic and Klaus Zimmermann. See and hear for yourself!
The Essener VokalEnsemble was founded in 1975 by Georg Dücker. From the very beginning, it consisted of music students, church and school musicians, orchestral musicians and singers interested in unusual interpretations of a cappella music. One focus of the ensemble is on thematic programs. Here, individual works are combined with each other in their complexity, thus enabling unexpected perspectives and an exciting concert experience for the audience. Guests enrich the range of the programs at irregular intervals.
