Mozart's "Milan Quartets," composed in the early 1770s in the northern Italian opera metropolis, stand at the beginning of his chamber music output. The works of Carlo Monza, a famous musician at the time, whom the young Mozart certainly met in Milan, are now forgotten. Fabio Biondi and members of his ensemble Europa Galante offer with their program the possibility to rediscover them. Postponed several times due to the pandemic, their concert can now finally be experienced in the Pierre Boulez Hall.
