Mobility must be socially equitable, climate-friendly, and tailored to people’s needs so that Leipzig remains a great place to live in the future.

How can we, the residents of Leipzig, get around the city?

How do we want to shape public spaces?

And what should the Leipzig of tomorrow look like?

We want to address these and other questions together during European Mobility Week 2026. Through a variety of event formats, key topics related to sustainable mobility will be discussed and brought to life. Events throughout the city will focus on walking and cycling, public transit, accessibility, traffic safety, access to mobility, and much more.
