Tractor beats, techno in a North Macedonian village, secret raves in the fields - and in the middle of it all, 15-year-old Ahmet in search of his first love. The unpretentious Sundance Audience Award winner DJ AHMET paints a picture of youthful rebellion in the age of social media. With a passion for music, a pinch of black humor and great respect for his characters, director Georgi M. Unkovski combines the search of two outsiders for first love and their struggle to find a place in a society focused on uniformity to create a unique "boy-meets-girl" story.
