EVENING ELEPPHNATS - "Follow he Itch"-Tour Europe
In the organizer's words:
Later this month, the American alt-pop band Evening Elephants will release their debut album, “Wholeheartedly, Terrible Sweet,” showcasing their indie-pop and alternative sound in full for the first time. The Los Angeles-based band has organically developed this sound over the past five years—and from the very beginning, they’ve firmly integrated high-energy live shows into their artistic identity. The band, led by frontman Sam Boggs, gained its first live experience through self-organized backyard concerts in private gardens or backyards. Their big breakthrough came in 2023 with the single “Snow on The Bluff,” which has long since surpassed 50 million streams and has enjoyed prominent support from the likes of Shaun White and Nina Dobrev, among others. Sam Boggs’ laid-back, sunny vocals are at times reminiscent of bands like Royel Otis, The Neighbourhood, or Grouplove, with whom Evening Elephants are constantly compared. As their popularity grew, their intimate backyard concerts were quickly replaced by performances on major stages across the U.S. and beyond. The American band’s schedule now includes sold-out headline shows and slots at renowned festivals such as Lollapalooza and London Calling. In August of this year, Evening Elephants will hit the road again, with two stops planned in Germany. They’re likely to bring along their newly released debut album, “Wholeheartedly, Terrible Sweet,” whose lead singles—such as “A Digital Touch” and “Simple Things”—show great promise.
