Expedition:POP&SOUNDS is a joint project of the City of Ludwigsburg's Department of Art and Culture and the Wüstenrot Foundation.
A temporary space for local and regional composers, sound artists, musicians, solo artists, DJs, bands and other formations from the fields of sound/sound art and (electronic) pop music will be created between old boilers, in imposing warehouses and production halls. For four days, concerts, DJ sets, sound presentations, sound experiments, sound art and interactive sound installations will make the old factory halls vibrate.
The project's program partners will also provide a wide range of festival contributions: the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg, the Animationsinstitut der Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (interactive media), the Ludwigsburg Philharmonic Choir and the Pop-Büro Region Stuttgart.
