How design and research are paving the way for climate transformation!

From May 27 to July 4, 2024, the Haus der Wirtschaft Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart will be a meeting place for all those who are constructively looking ahead and actively tackling the future. The "EXPO RETHINK:DESIGN Climate Relevance" exhibition presents material developments, product concepts, research initiatives and technologies whose positive impacts are already available today.
It shows that climate-relevant business and development does not require rocket science, but above all an open mind for what is possible. The exhibition is aimed at professionals from a wide range of sectors as well as students and the general public. Visitors will get a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the protagonists and gain an intensive impression of the spectrum in which sustainability can and must take place.

They will include, for example, a massive construction system made from waste wood modules, mycelium-based products, packaging made from husks, work by fiber researchers from the German Institutes of Textile and Fiber Research Denkendorf DITF, projects from the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA and pioneering products from companies and design agencies from Baden-Württemberg that are breaking new and visionary ground.
