ExtraSchicht 2026 - Flottmann-Hallen

THE premier cultural festival. ExtraSchicht showcases the coolest venues in the Ruhr region and offers you an amazing lineup: from live music and DJs to light installations, fire and drone shows, as well as comedy and guided tours of places that are otherwise off-limits. Of course, the Flottmann-Hallen will be there again—as always, from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Four decades of culture at the Flottmann-Hallen come to life on this night. Theater, juggling, and regional bands fill the hall and outdoor area with energy.
The local theater group theaterkohlenpott will make the puppets dance, and at “Halt mal kurz,” the audience is right in the middle of the action.
Installations bathe spaces in special colors, and guided tours reveal hidden perspectives. Later, when the headphones go on, the entire grounds transform into a dancing community. A huge celebration of industrial culture!
