EXTRAWURST

A comedy by Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob.
It's actually just a formality: the general meeting of a tennis club in provincial Germany is to vote on the purchase of a new grill for the club's celebrations. Normally, this would not be a problem - were it not for the proposal to also finance a separate grill for the club's only Turkish member. As is well known, devout Muslims are not allowed to put their barbecue sausages on a grill with pork.
A well-intentioned idea, which as disrespectfully as comically causes atheists and believers, Germans and Turks, "do-gooders" and hardliners to collide head-on. And it quickly becomes clear to everyone: It's about much more than a barbecue...
"Extrawurst" is a new comedy by the well-known comedy writers Dietmar Jacobs and Moritz Netenjakob, who have already been responsible for such well-known TV formats as "Die Wochenshow", "Ladykracher", "Das Amt" and "Stromberg".
