A magnificent guitarist who makes his instrument sing.
As a bridge between worlds, the German-Portuguese guitarist and composer Fabian Zeller combines the southern European joy of playing and the emotional intensity of fado with the solid structure of both popular and classical musical traditions. The fact that he is regarded as a virtuoso magician on his instrument is confirmed not least by guitar legend Carlo Domeniconi: “The guitar needs musicians like this!” Whether as a sought-after soloist with orchestras or in projects such as the duo Resonado or the groove-jazz band Flowin Tension —the young artist is gaining international recognition in major venues, at renowned music festivals, and in the concert halls of Europe’s major cities, as well as in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.
Hans-Henner Becker will read several poems from his poetry collection *FADOS* to accompany the performance.
