The Fachwerk Festival is THE new festival for up-and-coming artists in Forchheim. The Stow301 association, in cooperation with JTF Forchheim, presents four young up-and-coming bands to the audience, who will show what they’re really made of. For one evening, you can enjoy songs spanning a wide range of musical genres, from rock and pop to indie. The musicians will compete for the grand prize, which is awarded jointly by the audience and a jury.
Half Step Down
They’re a motivated, international basement band from Erlangen: young, loud, and versatile. The band members, aged 16 to 19, play everything from classic rock to punk to metal—in up to six languages.Forabout three years now, they’ve been rehearsing together, performing, and writing their own songs. What began as a basement project has long since become a real band with a sound that knows no bounds.
SYN
Somewhere between dreamy indie and sparkling glitter pop, SYN leaps across the stage and bathes the world in a moment of radiance. The artist SYN and her band perform diverse pop music featuring sophisticated arrangements and harmonized vocals. They transport the audience into a dreamlike world, aiming to create uplifting music with great attention to detail and to show the world that anything is possible.
CHARM
Charly & Moritz played in their first band together while still in school and haven’t stopped making music since. Over the years, this connection evolved into their joint project, CHARM. At its core lies not only their music but, above all, their close friendship, which underpins and shapes everything. In their debut album,GROW UP!, they tell stories of chaos, emotions, and the special moments on the journey to adulthood. These are personal stories—raw and honest—combined with a healthy dose of self-deprecating humor.
LisaRuftAn
Straight out of Bamberg, LisaRuftAn brings a wild mix of rap, alternative, and hard rock to the stage—raw, colorful, and guaranteed never to be boring. Her songs tell of talking horses, everyday madness, and everything else that defies categorization. Sometimes loud and angry, sometimes quiet and vulnerable—always with 100% energy. Once you give it a listen, you’ll be hooked.
