Fakear *live* + Audem

Fakear's residency enters the next round. Fakear alias Theo Le Vigoureux is constantly working on his vision of global electronica; cross-genre collaborations and encounters are as much a part of it as the air he breathes, which is why he invites a wide variety of artists as part of his residency. This time it's Audem, who, in addition to running Nowadays Records, is leaving her mark on the French electronic scene with her genre-spanning DJ sets.

Fakear has been shaping the French electronic scene for over ten years, an artist who really needs no further introduction. His music combines world music, hip-hop, modern beats and various bass and electronica styles, be it European house textures, post-dubstep or other sounds from the British and American underground. To really grasp it, you have to take a look at the bass music scene, at the new wave of international electronica artists such as Fred again..., Four Tet, Bonobo, Sammy Virji or Camoufly, who are currently redefining the sound. The results are floating melodies and complex rhythm structures that often create a meditative atmosphere: instinctive and organic, cinematically indulgent and concrete at the same time. Fakear is constantly developing his sound aesthetics and pursuing increasingly experimental approaches.

Audem is inspired by the fusion of different styles and genres. She currently runs the renowned electronic label Nowadays Records in Paris (home of La Fine Équipe, Fakear, Grand Soleil, Ténéré, Jeff The Fool...). A true music and party enthusiast, she is also behind the Club Nowadays events and the development of the Musique de Fëte collective, 2025 launched her residency at Tsugi Radio in Paris. Inspired by all these influences, Audem likes to create a sunny and lively atmosphere in her sets by combining house and UK garage.
