Fakten und Fiktion: Improtheater trifft Wissenschaft

We listen to inspiring lectures and immerse ourselves in the knowledge of the world - about tea and tiger sharks, quanta and quarks, the Milky Way and historical wonders of the world. Our brain processes new impressions best in our sleep, so we let the facts dance in our dreams during the theatrical part of the evening. Improvised stories combine information and emotion to create a journey into possible worlds - with great entertainment value and an effervescent mood of knowledge. When improv and science meet, it's all about learning and laughter. Previous knowledge on the part of the audience is completely undesirable, but insight afterwards is welcome!

This time with: Ole Danckert, an unrestricted captain with pilot training for the Kiel Canal, will provide the facts. What are entry strategies for maneuvering in the current? What are the difficulties in the relationship between canal helmsmen and sea helmsmen? How does the pilot feel when it is foggy? How do you actually brake a ship? Is it true that the ship is then unable to steer? You will find out these answers and many more. The information will flow into the improvised play of the actors from the facts and fiction team and the funny, abstruse and dreamlike scenes will help to indelibly anchor all the information in the memory.
