MADCAPS

The band `The MADCAPS` exists since 1997. The songs of the combo from Augsburg are characterized by influences of bands like `The Clash` or the `Ramones`, always spiced with a pinch of rock'n'roll and blues. In the course of their development, an independent sound with self-written lyrics and melodies emerged. Punk rock, hard with a lot of heart.
The lyrics are taken from life. They deal with the small problems of everyday life, love and are also uncomfortable and critical. At the same time, however, there is no political phrase-mongering in the 'pointing finger' manner, without completely excluding politics.
Of course, the band's repertoire also includes one or the other theme song with a roar-along factor.
Since their inception, the Madcaps have played over 350 live concerts. Both on local stages and on the big ones, as support for bands such as the Adicts, Bones, Business Cockney Rejects, Guitar Gangsters, Peacocks and Oxymoron. In 2012, the band will celebrate their 15th anniversary with their new studio EP "for God knows in the Sun"
