During the temporary exhibition "Dieter Krieg - Painters, Thieves and Riff-raff", we are offering 5 dates for family tours. Children and their parents or accompanying adults are guided through the exhibition in a dialogical way and playfully explore all kinds of colors and shapes.

📍 Dieter Krieg wrote art history as one of the most important German painters of the second half of the 20th century - but today his name is barely present. The exhibition "Painters, Thieves and Riff-raff" at the MKM Museum Küppersmühle focuses on his impressive late work: monumental typefaces, oversized depictions of everyday objects such as fried eggs, shower curtains and chops - powerful, expressive and uncompromising. Krieg's paintings questioned the representability of things and influenced an entire generation.
