Ice, snow and violent winter storms - Antarctica appears to be one of the most hostile regions on earth. And yet it is full of life. In this exciting family tour through the ANTARCTIC panorama exhibition, you will embark on an exciting journey of discovery to the animal inhabitants of the coldest continent. Why is almost nothing possible in the Antarctic without the tiny krill? How does the gentoo penguin get its name and what exactly is "blubber"? Look forward to surprising stories and exciting "aha" moments at the Panometer Leipzig.

The monumental 360° panorama ANTARKTIS by Yadegar Asisi shows the icy expanse of the white continent in all its facets - from huge glaciers and shimmering icebergs to the fascinating animal world with penguins, whales and seals. The Panometer Leipzig is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
