In the family guided tour through the exhibition of the impressive 360° panorama "THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET", all young and old puzzle detectives get their money's worth and check the sometimes absurd-sounding facts of the tour guide for their truthfulness. For example, is there really a real painting by Claude Monet hanging in the panorama exhibition and is it true that Yadegar Asisi emigrated to France for two years to paint the current panorama?

The panorama"THE CATHEDRAL OF MONET - Freedom of Painting" by Berlin artist Yadegar Asisi will also captivate and inspire you after the tour.

With this panorama, the artist invites you on a picturesque journey to the French city of Rouen at the end of the 19th century. The focus is on the impressive Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been immortalized in a multifaceted interplay of extraordinary colour nuances, shades and incidences of light. Numerous contemporaries of the era, such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Auguste Renoir, can be found on the square in front of it and in the city's alleyways. Background noises and music that reflect the atmosphere of the late 19th century as well as a day and night light simulation bring France's past to life. Viewing takes place at ground level or from the various levels of the 15-metre-high visitor platform.

All children also receive a puzzle rally free of charge with admission.

The Panometer Leipzig is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
