Fania Brava (Berlin) ft. Lionza (Venezuela). DURCHLÜFTEN – 2026 Live Concerts & DJ Acts

Over four weekends this summer, the DURCHLÜFTEN music festival transforms the Schlüterhof at the Humboldt Forum into an open-air gathering place, with free admission, where musical traditions from around the world come to life and, through interaction with the audience, become living archives of culture.   

Fania Bravais a Berlin-based cultural and music project founded in 2018 by a collective of Caribbean women. Through their events, they celebrate Latin American music across generations: from classic salsa and guaguancó to contemporary sounds like reggaeton and dembow. At the same time, they create inclusive spaces that give FLINTA* voices a platform in Berlin’s club scene.

At DURCHLÜFTEN, resident artistLionza—who is originally from Caracas, a city that was at the heart of the golden age of salsa and vinyl culture in the 1970s—will present a selection from her collection of original records. Her set takes listeners through salsa, guaguancó, and boogaloo by orchestras from the Caribbean diaspora—including Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Panama—highlighting Afro-Latin American roots and dancefloor energy.
