Maria. This is handmade and freshly cooked music by - of course - Maria. But that's not all. Alongside the singer of the same name, maria. is a young band from Aalen who play unconventional indie pop. The melodies are not bound to classical compositions, they are allowed to experiment, but above all it has to feel right. The band plays freely, creating intimate moments. Maria's lyrics are ambiguous and descriptive, the words are used playfully. The music is melancholic but hopeful. It's about feeling the music and being allowed to interpret it individually. The first singles have already been released and work on the first EP is in full swing.

Fanny Sorgo, a multidisciplinary artist from Austria, creates idiosyncratic, dreamlike worlds in her performative music readings. Her poetic lyrics and chanson-like songs move between dreamy & dystopian and dark & utopian - and always carry a touch of subtle humor.
