In the organizer's words:

FARIN URLAUB has been traveling since before he played music in a band. Although he is still a long way from his goal of seeing the whole world, he has been drawn to Africa again and again on his travels for several decades now. Whether on his own or with a guide, on a motorcycle or in an off-road vehicle - he has visited more than 40 countries on this huge, exciting, contradictory and absolutely fascinating continent.

He now wants to share the beauty, humanity and adventure that Farin has experienced there time and again. Not as an all-knowing cultural expert, but as an enthusiastic and curious traveler who is not afraid of the unknown - on the road with a camera, functional clothing and sunburn in search of the truth.

Together with Jochen Schliemann (journalist, traveler, writer and one half of "Reisen Reisen - Der Podcast"), Farin goes on a speaking tour through beautiful spaces in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The two want to talk openly about subjective experiences, show photos* and - at the very least - arouse curiosity.
