In the organizer's words:
His titles are already little stories: "Walkmännin", "Brauwolke", "Rede an die Sprache". Marcel Beyer is a lyricist, novelist, poetry lecturer at the University of Wuppertal and a researcher of language. He writes about history, memory and sound - and interacts intensively with the most diverse groups of people. Explorations, experiments and new forms of storytelling are what drive him to the stage time and again. At the Ring feature, he meets the Ring Trio - and we are excited to see what melodies his words will find that evening.
