Why do whales have fingers? Why does nature on islands often look so strange? And what did Darwin actually say?
On this evening tour, biologist Max Härtel invites you on a journey through the history of the theory of evolution - from the beginnings with Darwin, Wallace and Lamarck to the synthetic theory of evolution and current findings from systematics and genetics. Using selected exhibits from the Zoological Collection, we will take a look together at the forms of life, misconceptions and more - and discover how the idea of the origin of life has changed.
