"We would like to announce that capitalism passed away peacefully yesterday after a long illness. We would like to invite you to a memorial service to celebrate the passing of an economic and social system that has divided opinion. But we now know that we must say goodbye and plan a new future, for ourselves, for future generations and for the planet."

In this immersive theater experience, there will be room for letting go, for sadness and for celebration. Celebrating the Funeral of Capitalism is a performative ritual with elements of theater, dance and music, which turns into a communal celebration. Because if we cry together, we can also dance together. When we eat together, we can start talking about how we want to live together.

In simple language:

"Capitalism is dead. After a long time, we are saying goodbye to a system that has caused a lot of strife. Now it's time to start again - for ourselves, our children and the planet."

The play is about farewells and new beginnings. The evening has theater, dance and music. The audience sometimes joins in - for example with questions, conversations and discussions about our society. The play is humorous and shows how important community is. At the end, everyone eats together. (The meal is included in the ticket price).
