An evening between whispering keys and soaring guitars: Féjane opens with quiet, intense songs before Missing Maria noticeably turns up the volume in the cellar at 8 pm.

On the piano and guitar, Féjane sings of pink roses, hearts in need of rest and nights that are far too awake, approaching to within two centimetres of the things that leave us no peace inside. She tames phantoms, remains untameable herself and, like all of us, tries to win at life's slot machine from time to time. She also, so they say, secretly breeds wolves in her piano.

Missing Maria is an alternative rock band from Freiburg. The band writes songs with hard riffs, catchy melodies, powerful drums and emotional vocals. The band draws on a wide range of influences from the rock scene to create their own unique style. In terms of content, the lyrics range thematically between departure and collapse, holding on and letting go.
