Lola from Leipzig dedicate themselves to the dark facets of life - with a haunting sound language that fuses atmospheric surfaces with eruptive force. Gentle melancholy and raw energy meet in their sound - a contrast that gets under your skin. Musically, LOLA move somewhere between comfort punk and drum'n'gaze - a hybrid of post-punk, shoegaze, electronica and broken club aesthetics. The sound is simultaneously vulnerable and angry, intimate and ecstatic.
