Femi Luna says of herself that she slipped into being a musician by chance. But it's hard to believe in coincidences for several reasons: after all, her name Femi - short for Euphemia - means "good voice" or "good speech" in ancient Greek. Not a bad starting point for becoming a singer-songwriter. Besides, Femi Luna simply has far too much talent and musical flair to pursue any other profession.

Fortunately, other trailblazers also recognized the latter early on, and shortly after her debut EP "Freedom" (2019), various appearances at festivals and support slots for well-known acts such as Alice Phoebe Lou, Black Sea Dahu, The Slow Show and Benjamin Amaru followed. With her debut album "Library" (2021), she was named SRF 3 Best Talent, which led to further concerts and support shows. After a short break, she began work on her upcoming album "Wash My Pain Away" in spring 2024, which took her from Vienna to Quyon, Canada.
