To mark the release of their third studio album "GOOD MOTHER", jazz/hip-hop combo Ferge X Fisherman will be going on headline tour again in 2024. In April/May of this year, they supported US rapper Oddisee on his European tour and played several festivals in the summer, from Poolbar (AT) and Waves Vienna (AT) to Reeperbahn, Tapefabrik, NUEJAZZ and Mahagoni. The live/studio band Nujakasha is also part of the band, which has a significant influence on the warm sound of the album and plays a major role on stage. Fisherman's lyrics deal with growing up, responsibility and the fears that come with it. Formative experiences are shared, from setting the wrong course to insecurities about one's own career and interpersonal relationships. Ferge X Fisherman also capture these feelings in their production. From CoolBap hip-hop grooves à la The Roots to bass-heavy 808 beats. The album features Mick Jenkins (US), Jerome Thomas (UK), Takuya Kuroda (JP) and Ceeopatra (DE).
