Here you will learn what fermentation is, how it works, what equipment you need and what types of fermentation there are. We will also make 3 of our own wild ferments together, which you can of course take home with you.

We ferment vegetables in their own juice and in brine.

  • In this workshop, we will only make wild ferments that do not require starter cultures and can therefore be easily made at home.
  • We process vegetables in organic quality.
  • Includes digital script and a glass fermentation weight.

What you need: 3 clean swing-top jars or screw-top jars (filling volume approx. 200-300ml). You can use old jam jars, for example.

If you don't have any jars, you can get some on site, please let us know when you register.

Registration (here) is required for this workshop. After registration you will receive the details to pay the workshop fee. This can be done by bank transfer or PayPal.

Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 3 days before the start of the workshop, after that a cancellation fee of 10€ will be charged.
