Festival BLAUES RAUSCHEN 2026
- Resonant systems: air, algorithm, body

At storyLab kiU in the Dortmunder U, we encounter Yolanda Uriz Elizalde, Hye Young Sin and TinTin Patrone, three artists who understand sound as the result of complex interactions. The focus is on air, resistance and algorithmic processes, elementary physical forces that are transformed into hybrid constellations of performance, installation and digital control.

Air currents are generated and modulated, analog instruments are dependent on digital networks, machines appear as idiosyncratic players. Language is generated, processes react to the audience, perception shifts between hearing, seeing and smelling. Technology appears here not as a tool, but as a counterpart in permanent negotiation with the body.

In the afternoon, Yolanda Uriz Elizalde will give a lecture talk on multisensory interference and working with scent as a fleeting material in sound art.

The concert evening is thus not a sequence of individual contributions, but a precisely set overall format: a laboratory of resonant systems in which man, machine and material negotiate in real time with each other what sound can be today.
