The Martial Arts Festival is Germany’s first and largest annual martial arts festival—a two-day celebration of movement, culture, mindfulness, and community.

With more than 50 hours of workshops, participants are invited to experience martial arts as living traditions that cultivate awareness, resilience, creativity, and human connection. 

From yoga, qigong, aikido, and meditation to kung fu, wushu, karate, MMA, kickboxing, traditional archery, and historical sword fighting, the festival encompasses both ancient wisdom and contemporary movement practices. 

Beyond physical training, visitors can discover Chinese fan dance, historical reenactments, stunt performances, and many other cultural experiences connected to the world’s martial arts traditions. 

The atmosphere is welcoming rather than competitive. Beginners, experienced practitioners, families, and the simply curious are all equally welcome. 

Participation is always optional—many guests choose to watch workshops, enjoy demonstrations and healthy food, and connect with like-minded people throughout the weekend.
