Festival im Vogelviertel

Once again, the grounds of the culture and communication center in Sieker will become a place of encounter and exchange. At the festival in the Vogelviertel, visitors can experience a diverse musical stage program and take part in various workshops. The artistic focus is on the combination of Middle Eastern and European culture. And there is even more to experience: international food and drinks, fun and games for the little ones and much more.

15.00 - 17.00 hrs | Delilo Halay Workshop - Traditional Turkish folk dance

Experience the Delilo Halay, a variation of the traditional Turkish Halay dance, which is danced at festivals and weddings in the Middle East, the Balkans and the Caucasus. Get to know the characteristic basic steps and immerse yourself in the diversity of this rousing folk dance. For all dance enthusiasts and culture lovers - no previous knowledge necessary!

from 17.00 hrs | Upcycling workshop of the Fairstival e.V.

During the festival, an upcycling workshop will take place at the Fairstival stand. Here you can build and design birdhouses and make decorations out of paper. Come and have a look!
