On January 25, 2026 at 4 p.m., the University of Duisburg-Essen invites you to a festive concert in the Philharmonie of the Mercartorhalle Duisburg.

A top-class musical program awaits you. Under the direction of Karajan Conductor Laureate and Folkwang Professor Oliver Leo Schmidt, the University Orchestra will present the Scottish March "Marche écossaise" by Claude Debussy, the "Triple Concerto in C major op. 56" by Ludwig van Beethoven together with the Davidoff Trio and the "Symphonic Dances op. 45" by Sergei Rachmaninov.
