A masterpiece of Japanese role-playing games was released in 1997 - Final Fantasy 7 setnew standards in terms of graphics, gameplay, story and music .The quartet "Endgegner" now brings the latter to the stage in the style of a jazz and rock band. The musical highlights of the soundtrack are presented in thrilling arrangements and energetic live performances. From the driving "Opening/Bombing Mission" to the tragic "Aeris' Theme" and the epic "One Winged Angel", the audience will relive the entire journey of Cloud Strife and his comrades-in-arms. In addition to the music, the story will be presented in small sections between the songs and visualized with pictures by British artist Jordan Grimmer. And the accompanying studio album will also be available for purchase exclusively on this evening, with all the songs played in the best sound quality. A unique experience for fans of the game and live music!

About the band:

Endgegner is a video game jazz cover band from Cologne. Melodies from video games are interpreted with the means of a jazz and rock band. Classic and spacey keyboard sounds or a distorted electric guitar play the melodies, solos and chords over the driving rhythms of bass and drums. The performance thrives on dynamic range and energetic instrumental solos. After 4 albums and numerous appearances at game festivals, "Final Fantasy 7 - A Musical Journey" is the first dramaturgically coherent concert program that takes the epicness of live video game music to a new level!
