After the mysterious accident of a nuclear submarine equipped with nuclear missiles, the team of an underwater drilling station, led by the experienced Brigman and reinforced by a group of elite soldiers, is entrusted with the salvage work. During the operation, the team has several encounters with extraterrestrial life forms that show their displeasure at the destruction of Earth by humans. A psychopathic naval officer finally tries to destroy the aliens with an A-bomb, which he throws into a deep-sea trench. Brigman dives after them, defuses the explosive device and is rescued by the aliens.
The crew of an underwater station has to recover a nuclear warhead 5000 meters below sea level and encounters aliens in the process.
