The Stadtteilarchiv Ottensen e.V. invites the director Rasmus Gerlach to show his film "DER KLANG DER STERNBRÜCKE" in the Kesselhaus:

5 years of Kreiselkonzerte

"If you like, you can dance here for a moment" is written on the wall of the closed Astra bar, opening up a kerbside club that invites you to cornern at the traffic traffic circle. A band performs - for free and outside - followed by a political speech with up-to-date information from the Sternbrücke initiative.

Changing bands every Thursday and mass karaoke have turned the traffic circle into a cult venue. The traffic circle concerts take center stage as a form of protest: residents continue to try to save the Sternbrücke from demolition with performative actions. That suits Hamburg - the city with 2,500 bridges.

The secret heroine of this observational documentary is Marlies Thätner from the Sternbrücke initiative, who reports week after week on the ongoing protests against the construction of the new bridge.
