One of the most unconventional ethnographic films, described as a "postcard in the service of the imaginary". Jean Rouch's first feature-length film and first ethno-fiction is based on documentary footage and improvised scenes and follows three young men who make their way from Niger to the Gold Coast (now Ghana) to find work.
