For over 50 years, John Marshall dedicated his films to documenting the Ju'hoan (!Kung) in Namibia. In this intimate portrait, N!ai tells her own story and describes the changes in the Ju'hoan community over 30 years. As N!ai speaks, the film shows her over different periods in her life.
