Hamburg-based singer CLEO is opening a new chapter with her band FiNDiNG CLEO and showing that the courage to change can create great things.

Her roots in jazz have shaped Cleo: Growing up in a musical home, honed on the stages of New Orleans and celebrated for her virtuoso voice, which was reminiscent of greats such as Ella Fitzgerald. But the turning point came during the pandemic - and with it the desire to find the sound of her own voice. It was time to break away from convention and write music that reflected her as a person.
With FiNDiNG CLEO, a band was formed that is just as multifaceted as Cleo herself: Martín Zamorano (keys), Lukas Staratzky (guitar), Tom Richter (bass) and Jonas Winkler (drums) bring their diverse musical backgrounds together to create a blend of indie pop and neo-soul. Together they create a stage bursting with energy, intimacy and honest emotion.

FiNDiNG CLEO sounds like a hug for the soul: dynamic rhythms, multi-layered harmonies and lyrics that tell of love, self-doubt, crises, new beginnings and the search for one's place in the world.
In May 2024, the first single "Alike" was released, a song about the courage to stay true to yourself. This was followed by "Just Right", an anthem for all those who go their own way - even if it involves detours. The band released their first EP in 2025: six singles characterized by intimate atmospheres, honest lyrics and detailed productions.
