An insight into a profession that is at the heart of the literary industry and yet often remains invisible - translation.
How do translators approach a new project and thus new challenges each time? How do you manage to preserve the writing style of the original language? How does collaboration with publishers and authors work? How is artificial intelligence changing this work?

And what do translators actually do when they're not translating?

These and other questions from the audience will be addressed at the event, which will be moderated by students from the Institute of Applied Linguistics and Translatology (IALT) at Leipzig University.
